Enter Jonathan Mark Fink, left stage. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 14, 1991, and the world was never the same. I grew up in Maryland with my two sisters: Anna, who is a girl, age fifteen, and my little sister, who also just happens to be a girl, Rebekah, age ten. Both of my parents are in the medical field, and are physical therapists (or for you Canadian weirdoes, physiotherapists.) My dad owned and was a partner in a rather large chain of physical therapy clinics. In 1995, he left a very lucrative world in business to spend more time with his family. I was a crazy little kid, and so now, I stand (or rather type) before you now as a crazy big kid. Hence the reason for the job switch, partly. We set off on a trip around the U. S. for three months that would change our lives. At this time, it was only my sister Anna and I that were present, I, being four, and she, experiencing her second summer of life. Even though I was very young, I still remember some of the details of our journey. The country that we traveled through made such an impression on us for its beauty that we decided that we would like to live there someday. After two more years in Baltimore, we finally put our house up for sale, and it didn’t sell for four more years. We had in a ten month period over one hundred showings!
In 2001, it sold, and we relocated out in the sticks to Eureka, Montana, otherwise known as NeverNeverLand. We don’t even have a single traffic light.
Both of my sisters are very creative, and draw beautifully. My sister Anna and I came to Fountainview this year, and are loving it. I enjoy my Junior Socials class the most.
My career choice is in the aeronautical realm. I would love to guide megatons of metal around the sky at close to supersonic speeds, precisely avoiding constant doom and peril by superior displays of skill. The gadgets associated with flying are so incredible; it makes me want to drool. Also, the hat you wear when captaining an aircraft is super awesome, and commands respect.
Anyway, some of my other interests include; computers (may Apple live long and continue to prosper), backpacking, music (which I eat, sleep, and breathe), playing my guitar (which is in the same kind of category), and, last but not least, flying airplanes and helicopters.
My goals are to become more like Christ as I behold Him and let him reflect his character more perfectly in me, to go to college, to serve at least four years in the military, and fly at least on the corporate level.
